Can I convert marks out of 27 into an ESAT score?
Not exactly. UAT-UK reports each module on a 1.0 to 9.0 scale set after the sitting, using a statistical model that adjusts for how hard that paper was. It publishes no table from raw marks to scores, so any converter for practice papers is an estimate. This tool reviews the mark itself instead.
How long do I get per ESAT question?
Each module has 27 questions in 40 minutes, about 89 seconds per question on average. Some questions take far less; the average is a budget, not a rule for each question.
Should I guess on ESAT questions I cannot finish?
Yes. Each correct answer earns one mark and wrong answers lose nothing, so a blank can never score and a guess sometimes does.
