Terms of Service

ESATGenius.com is operated by Lightcube. These terms apply to this site and to the UniGenius practice platforms for admissions tests.

The service

UniGenius provides study guides, practice questions, lessons and mock tests for admissions tests. The material is our own work, written against each test's published specification. It is preparation material: using it does not guarantee any particular score or any university or medical school offer, and decisions about your application remain yours.

The purchase and guarantee terms below apply to UniGenius ESAT. Terms version: esat-checkout-2026-09-25.

Paid digital access

UniGenius ESAT is a one-time purchase. Its standard price is £299. Until 11:59pm UK time on 31 October 2026, an introductory offer takes £100 off automatically at checkout, so you pay £199. The standard price applies from 1 November 2026. Access through 31 October 2027. One payment, no automatic renewal, for one student. There is no subscription or recurring charge. The price shown at checkout is VAT-inclusive; Stripe collects the billing details needed to show the correct tax treatment on your receipt. Access is to online digital content and starts only after payment and recorded consent.

Cancellation and immediate access

Paying gives you access to the course straight away. Your 14-day right to cancel ends when that access begins, so there is no cooling-off refund once the course has opened.

Under every pay button we show this notice: “By paying you agree to our Terms and get access straight away, which ends your 14-day cancellation right.” By clicking to pay with that notice shown, you agree to these terms, you give your express consent for access to the digital course to start straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once access starts. We record that you clicked pay with the notice shown, the notice version and the time, and we confirm it in the email we send when your course opens. If that record cannot be made, we do not grant paid access. Contact support@unigenius.co.uk if you have a question about your rights.

7.0 in every module, or your money back

Reach 100% guarantee progress before your ESAT. If your official result is below 7.0 in any module required for the course you name on your You page, we refund the price you paid when you send your result within 30 days.

• The result. 7.0 or higher in every required scored module. This promises a refund, not admission, an interview or an offer.
• The work. Reach 100% guarantee progress before your sitting. Guarantee progress is made of active study days plus completed work. It rises with the work you do, not with your marks, and your You page shows where you are.
• What counts as completed work. Lessons finished; practice questions and timed papers answered with genuine working, each question once, on the first attempt and without help, with papers submitted; corrections written for questions you got wrong; and genuine official or comparable past papers you sit elsewhere, logged on your You page with your mark, dated answer pages and a correction for each wrong answer, which count for the part of the course they cover. Each past paper counts once, and we may ask to see the evidence when you claim.
• What does not count. Repeated attempts at the same question, answers given too fast to have been read, guessing at random, help from someone or something else, logging in, browsing, watching and any other unusual activity. A day counts as active only when it holds completed work.
• How we assess it. We assess eligibility from platform records: our records of your active days and completed work decide your guarantee progress.
• Your sitting. After you pay, confirm your exam date on your You page. It locks once set, and the guarantee covers that sitting. Work after it does not count.
• Your course. After you pay, pick the course you are applying for on your You page, from the published list of courses that use the test. It locks once set, and your result is judged on the modules that course requires. Until it is set, the guarantee is not complete.
• Claiming. Email support@unigenius.co.uk within 30 days of your official result, with your payment reference and your official score report or certificate. We check the guarantee progress recorded on your account and refund the price you paid to your original payment method.
• Fixed at purchase. These terms (version guarantee-progress-2026-09-25-v3) are copied into your purchase when you pay and do not change afterwards.

Courses bought before 25 September 2026

A purchase keeps the guarantee it was sold with. Before 25 September 2026 that was a satisfaction refund: within the first 30 days after purchase, study on at least 7 separate days, answer at least 150 original course questions and complete 1 timed mock. If the course still was not worth it, email support@unigenius.co.uk within that window and we refund 100% of the purchase price to the original payment method.

Accounts

Some features need an account. Keep your sign-in method to yourself and tell us if you believe someone else has used your account. You may close your account at any time by emailing us; we will delete the personal data we hold as described in our privacy policy.

Fair use

The content on UniGenius is licensed to you for your own study. Do not republish, resell or scrape it, and do not attempt to disrupt the service or access other people's data. We may suspend accounts that do.

No affiliation

UniGenius is independent. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any school, university, local authority, admissions service, regulator or test provider. Test names are used to describe what our material prepares you for; always check dates, rules and requirements with the official test provider.

Liability

We work hard to keep the material accurate, and we correct errors when they are reported. The service is provided as-is: to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. The current version is always at this address, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
